Entry and Exit Deadlines:

  • Last Entry Date: April 13, 2025.

  • Last Exit Date: April 29, 2025.

Pilgrims must enter Saudi Arabia by April 13 and depart by April 29, 2025.

Visa Validity:

The Umrah visa is valid for three months from the date of issuance, not from the date of entry. Pilgrims should plan their travel accordingly to ensure their visa remains valid throughout their stay. 

Health Requirements:

The Saudi Ministry of Health mandates that all Umrah pilgrims be vaccinated against the following diseases:

  • Meningococcal meningitis

  • SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19)

  • Seasonal influenza

  • Poliomyelitis (for travelers from regions with reported cases)

  • Yellow fever (for travelers from regions with reported cases)

Pilgrims must present valid vaccination certificates upon arrival.

Transportation Enhancements:

To improve the pilgrimage experience, air conditioning is now mandatory in vehicles transporting pilgrims between Makkah and Madinah. 

Visa Options for GCC Residents:

Residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries can now perform Umrah using transit and tourist visas, in addition to the traditional Umrah visa. The transit visa allows travelers to stay in Saudi Arabia for up to 96 hours.
